phantom of the opera

so this post is dedicated to jackie because she reminded me that a blog of mine existed. so here you go jackie :P

I've had this obsession with Phantom of the Opera ever since I came back from New York where I saw it on Broadway. Might I just say that it was AMAZING. like no joke. its AMAZING. seriously. AMAZING. i just said AMAZING 3 times. (that's 4) its really that good. If you ever go to New York city and decide to watch a musical, POTO should be on the top of your list. its really that good. The music is awesome, sometimes its like a combination of pipe organ and 80's technorock, and other times its almost like an opera. It's like the ultimate combination of music and acting. I bought the soundtrack of the musical with the original cast and trust me it doesn't do justice to the actual musical. The present cast is so much better than the soundtrack. So you can't come to me and be like "oh i don't need to see the musical. I can watch it on youtube."
IF that is your response to me, I will do something god awful that will probably get me kicked off of student council. honestly. don't watch it on youtube. GO TO NEW YORK. You can see the awesome city along the way too. if you can't do go to New York then go to Las Vegas and watch it. It's not as good as the original NY but i guess it'll suffice. you won't regret it at all. Then after you come back, we can have a long discussion about how AMAZING the musical is. we can rant and make a fan-club and totally make it next new thing. :D

So yeah. POTO is AMAZING. But I'm in need for some new music. If anyone believes that they have an adequate candidate to wet my musically starved tastebuds let me know. I NEED NEW STUFF. :D
