not much to say

well it's been a few days since I last blogged and I must admit I have this urge to say things on a website that is completely open to the public and allows anyone and everyone to read it. yay for e-stalkers! :D (one of you are going to make a comment saying, "nobody would stalk you anyway.")
so Julia was nice enough to non-directly introduce me to a new band that goes by the name The Fratellis. They're really good you've probably heard them on one of the iPod commercial. Look up the song Flathead. Quite excellent. Anyhow, my internet router thingamajig is being an ass and blocking virtually every site that allows me access to the torrents, downloading, and even blocks Limewire. So I can't even download their album. I shouldn't say that on the internet... oh well. So if anybody has their album (old or new I don't care) that'd be really cool. They sound like what the Beatles would sound like in the modern day. Their voices sound like the the British people.

Just because she feeds me well and made me talk dirty in a pink hotel doesn't mean she's got eyes for me
-"Flathead" The Fratellis
nice lyrics too as you can tell. Anyway, I was at Steven's house all day yesterday and we spent most of the time playing games like we always do. good times. We dropped ourselves from helicopters over New York city then we went on to fighting wars all over the world as soldiers. There were instances when we fought a war in Lorderan also. Teehee. How nerdy am I.

PAINTBALLING. my first point. To all those who said they would come but stood us up: shame on you. You guys missed out. My second point: it was amazing. hahaha so much fun. No better way to let out inner frustration then pumping your friend full of paint. Rather, shooting plastic balls and giving the recipient welts for a few days. The feeling you get as you hear your foe shout and scream as you pelt him with plastic balls is quite satisfying. Screw anger management, go paintballing. I went in a boy and came out as a boy addicted to shooting paintballs at people.

Summer camp training starts on Tuesday! I'm so excited! I get to see summer camp people again after a long year. I can't wait for camp to actually start itself. I'm going to be missing the first week of second session and I'm going to be taking care of archery which is going to be slightly tedious but that's okay. I'll have fun anyway. I hope the kids I met last year are coming back. They were super cool. There's nothing that makes you happier than little kids. Seriously they are like the ultimate anti-depressant.

Anyhoo, I'm done for today. GNIGHT.

LOST and middle school

O.M.G. what a good show. Did you know Lost is an awesome show? like. it's complete genius. So many things combined altogether in one awesome show. It's intense, scary, dramatic, sad, funny, romantic and so much more. what else can you ask for? i've been addicted to this show for the past like 2 days. If ANYONE, anyone at all, has season DVDs, you'd be really cool if you let me borrow them :) wink wink. hint hint. nudge nudge. All the characters are really deep too. Especially Sawyer and Locke. I think they're the two coolest characters in the show. Sawyer's cool because. he's cool. everyone slightly detests him but he's always cool-headed and he makes the best nicknames for everybody. Locke is so WISE. like it's not even old asian grandpa style wise, like with the weird sayings but in a make sense wise way. it's really deep. It's kinda creepy how he knows everybody so intimately and knows how to solve their problems. It's like he's become the island's representative. Remember that part way in the beginning of the series where he comes in contact with the monster thing? We haven't heard from it since. Ever since Locke saw it, it's never come again. What if the monsters taken over Locke? like what if it's a part of Locke now like some sort of weird wolf in sheeps skin sorta thing. LIKE ETHAN. WHAT AN ASS. SERIOUSLY. he creeps me out. er creeped* he's dead w00t charlie! anyway. if you HAVEN'T seen the show I won't spoil it anymore for you. You should most definitely watch it. OH one thing that really bothers me are the HORRIBLE korean accents. Seriously like do they not put in any effort to try to make the accents right? the only person with a proper korean accent is Sun, Jin can't speak korean, Sun's father can't speak korean. Jin's father can't speak korean. The korean hitman can't speak korean. Like i thought he was speaking gibberish. seriously. This makes me wonder if all movies and TV shows that have foreign languages actually have correct accents. We probably wouldn't know. Oh the scourge of them choosing Korean to be the language they butcher. Oh god why? Why such calamity? I cringe every single time I hear Jin. :(

Anyway going on. So my cousins are over with my uncle/aunt and great uncle/aunt. My girl cousin is graduating from Middle School tomorrow. So she was on the phone and gossiping, "oooh my goddd. I don't know if I'm going to grad dance tomorrow. *girly whine* ooooh i know! because Hojae (her boyfriend i presume? it says on facebook that he graduated from HIGH SCHOOL last year... let's hope not) isn't sneaking in. OMG. did you hear about kristi and kevin? she wants to dump him before grad! like like grad's tomorrow! *giggle*"
middle school. oh the memories. I don't think i was ever this bad. granted i was not a girl. sorry to disappoint. no dirty little secret to reveal.
She talks in this singsongy voice and its all high. It sounds like she's almost singing an opera. VALLEY GIRL. jeezus. I really wanna know what she'll be like in high school. WELL time will tell. I remember ms graduation. teehee. good times. I remember it was baking hot during grad practice and I got at least 3 shades darker. no joke. and mr. parker (? i forget his name) got annoyed during the pledge of allegiance because we paused somewhere in it and he said, "there is no comma there at all. It is a mistake to pause there." So during the actual grad, we messed up the whole audience by not pausing and there was like an awkward little moment as the audience kinda looked around with like a wtf? look. hahah. anyway. So the ceremonies were nice and everything. The speeches were sentimental. Kinda long but that's okay. The dance was awesome. The decorations were HELLA COOL. you guys remember the fire breathing dragon? wow. seriously we had a fire breathing dragon. hah. i bet you harker kids didnt have a fire breathing dragon. hohoho. anyway so the whole dance was decorated to a middle ages theme so there were banners hanging from the ceiling with drapes and pictures of knights and robin hood all over the place. But then the dance ended. I remember feeling that i might never see some of these people ever again. people were crying all over the place. i remember trying to hold on to the moment as long as possible. I didn't cry at school but let's just say that the car ride was really depressing. These guys were my whole childhood. I was leaving everyone that i'd known since i came to the US when I didn't speak a single word of english. For a few days afterward, I was kinda depressed. But then i met harker people and it was cool. i have two groups of friends now :D.

summer/rant on blizzard/my dependence on technology(not really)/and other stuff

WARNING: I have not posted in a few days. This post may consist of but is not limited to excessive capitals, exclamations, long paragraphs, the word "so", and the phrase "anyhoo". The party of this blog is not to be held responsible for side effects that can take place but is not limited to boredom, sleepiness, confusion, annoyance, etc. You have been warned.

summer's finally here! The sun is shining, homework is non-existent, studying is unthinkable, and i'm relaxed and happy.
BUT.
i cannot play DoTA. *sad face* partially my fault i guess. My brother wanted to learn how to play DoTA but seeing as we only have one copy of Frozen Throne, I told him to get a key generator (shhhh.). So he did. Then Blizzard decided to lay down the law on us (or me) and proceeded to block my IP. When I discovered this I FLIPPED. almost literally. I was like on my feet. (just kidding). I decided to research my little problem and lo behold, their technical forum states that my IP can be blocked from anywhere within a range of 72 Hours to 2 weeks. 2 WEEKS. What am I going to DO?! This was supposed to be the highlight of my summer. But now I might not be able to play DoTA for TWO WEEKS. *distressed face* so I've been wasting my time moping and groaning trying to find another way to vent out my frustration. I played GTA for a bit, shooting things, blowing up cars and it relieved my distress a little. But now I am posting up my feelings about my predicament on my blog. WHICH I find out has entertained many people and inspired them to which I am eternally grateful. i like comments *grin face*(hint hint)

anyhoo. moving on from my depression and angst. "angst. angst. angst. angst."
Tomorrow's like the true beginning of summer because it'll like be the first day when we're USUALLY in school. but we're NOT. *shock face* so that'll be nice. *smile face*

yeah so I think this'll be a good time to explain the reason that i'm not actually using faces and saying *____ face*. So my brother showed me this thing called Arby and the Chief. And if you guys don't know my enthusiasm and slight addiction that I have for Halo, then you are not a true friend. (sorry to break the truth to you guys) It's really slightly entertaining in a very stupid and dense way. It appeals to the most primitive senses of the humans. So both of the characters talk in 1337 talk. (haha) and Chief (one of the characters if you didn't get it from the title) occasionally does the face thing and the subtitles show the :( but he says saaaad face. teehee. So I thought it was funny and decided to use it somewhere. (maybe). look it up on youtube. it's funny. harharhar

GOING ON. We had our sophomore picnic yesterday which I must say was a SUCCESS. Hah. did your previous StuCo try stuff like that? (just kidding I love you guys). I was slightly worried that it might go OUT OF CONTROL AHHH. but it didnt *grin face*For all of you who didn't go, YOU MISSED OUT. we even had extra buns and wieners for you. (harharhar. buns and wieners. i crack myself up. hohoho) I don't know what we did with them. so you guys might have just caused like a huge waste of food. tsk tsk tsk. shame. but i'm sure you had a good reason for not bonding with your fellow classmates who you will undergo the trial and torture of junior year with. I'm sure you had a completely legit excuse. It's okay. We don't feel bad because you forgot about us and decided not to show up. We had fun without you. Just kidding. WE MISSED YOU ALL. Yeah so the picnic was a success. We had a slight bump in the beginning when we discovered that people reserved tables 3 months in advance and silly us, we only thought of the event last week. But that was okay because my mom brought over a table for us. Our grilling was a success and the food was nice and toasty. We were actually going to get some KFC but never got around to it. Sorry guys. I think it would have been a huge waste of food anyway. THANK YOU to all of those who brought something to share. Those brownies especially. They were delicious. *yum face* The park was humongous. There were water playthings, a baseball field, like 5 basketball courts, a huge field, another huge field, and grills. So yeah I think we picked the right park.

wow. this was a long post. I'm plumb out of things to say. NOT.

So i've been receiving Time the magazine for a few years now. Lately the highlight of the magazine has been the very last page where they have like mini essay sorta things. Yeah actually they're called Essays. I just checked. Anyway, they're about all sorts of different things that the reader has feelings about. Like this weeks issue had someone talking about their daughter's elementary school graduation. (quite moving and well written) All of these essays have been really good and interesting to read and it makes me want to write about things to. Not essays like those that we write in school but about topics that make me want to write essays. I guess that's kind of why I started this blog. As a way for me to start writing about things I want to write about where I can get feedback and things. Gosh. The Time articles are so clever and witty with their little jokes. I wish I could do that. Their random allusions to different things are so NOT random. it's so skillful how they do this. I guess this is why they're publishing articles for a national magazine that's been around for decades. The way they word things are ingenious too. they can turn any random topic into something so clever and amazing it makes me want to plop down and clunk out an essay. I should find something I want to write about. Hmm. This'll be one of my summer goals. to write an essay about something I want to write about.

This reminds me of another topic. So i've been listening to the Adam Carolla show on my ipod for a few months ever since their station got dropped from the bay area *sad face* You guys should listen to it. It's a talk show hosted by Adam Carolla (duh) who used to work on Loveline on 105.3. He's an incredibly intelligent guy and he's hilarious. Like the things he says and talks about are so interesting and clever, it makes me want to say, "why hasn't anyone thought of this before?" This guy didn't even go to college and worked in construction for like 20 years before finally reaching broadcasting industry. and now he's a radio talk show host who can talk hours about a single topic and the listener would never get bored. If the world was full of people like him, it would be a much better place. look up his show and listen to it. seriously.

wow. that really was a long post. that's like longer than all my posts combined. If you read this whole thing without skimming, eye glazing, scrolling over paragraphs, etc. etc. i applaud you. If you did, I don't blame you. *smile face* anyway, im tired now. im out of things to say, sorry to disappoint. I'll have more stuff to say later.

CIAO.
have you seen the movie, P.S. I love comments
(wow what a bad pun.)

music//more

yeah so im supposed to be studying for French but I'm talking to amiti on skype and she's giving some decent music. they're slightly generic but i guess that's alright. lol secretly addicting. shhhh. anyhoo. PRECALC. was pretty easy. surprisingly. this whole easy final thing is giving me a bad vibe. I hope i didn't bomb the whole thing and somehow fail. :( that'd be bad. OH my brother's being "promoted" tomorrow yayy congrats to him. he survived middle school. lol high school's going to be really weird with him next year but I'm okay with that i guess. I can keep an eye out for him and keep him from doing something stupid. I swear all his friends are complete idiots. but that's okay cuz I was weird in ms. Not as immature maybe but I was still pretty weird. HM. you guys should send me pictures of me from middle school so that I can laugh. HAHA. teehee. you can laugh with me.

ARGH French verb tenses are messing with my mind. so there's imparfait, subjonctif, futur, conditionnel. the horrible thing is that they look all the same. ESPECIALLY futur and conditionnel. :( but that's okay because French isn't that bad. Thank god I re-did french 1. I wud be in a load of unpleasantness if I decided to go onto French II. Not that I really had a choice. :P

yeah so im not done yet but i'll write more later

//edit.
aright going on. lately my parents have kept on bugging me again. they won't get off my back. Like it's gotten to the point where they're constantly talking to me, pestering me, telling me to study, that i'm going to fail at life if I don't get my life into shape. So a few minutes ago, my dad showed me this video of this guy in first place in a race then falling at the last minute. Pretty much he said, your life is going to be like that if you don't get yourself under control. You're going to be a fool. (almost verbatim) seriously. Like thanks for understanding dad. my life is completely different from yours. you grew up in some poor korean town and I live in America. It's a totally different place. All you have to do to succeed in korea is study. like constantly. unlike my dad in high school, i have a social life. there's thing I wanna do rather than mope around studying. I'm sick and tired of them trying to force me to do stuff that I don't wanna do.
god damn.

FINALS

Yeah. so finals. there's not much to say. there's only a few days left of school and my brother got me sick. seriously. i was fine until today and all of a sudden I start coughing and my throat gets itchy. argh. So I really don't feel like studying for finals but I'm scared that if i don't my very close to a B in math will actually drop down to a B. So i'm writing down stuff on notecards. well, not right now but you get the point. Anyhoo, SUMMER'S ALMOST HERE :D.

new layout. again

hey y'all so I got another layout because I thought the last one was a little.. unprofessional? iono i didn't like it so i made a new one BUT stupid photobucket isn't letting me sign in so I can host my picture. ;( I forgot that I made a new password for my account because they told me old password was too small sigh. stupid password requirements. I had such a good one that I had for all my accounts but now the STUPID INSECURE sites aren't letting me keep my ingenious numerically based password.

Oh I also need a new background because I only made a header for the blog. So i need some inspiration. THIS is where you guys come in. any suggestions?

ANYHOO. more on my life. so this whole weekend I was supposed to study for finals/SAT but i kept on procrastinating and fooling off so I barely got in any study. Actually the only finals that I'm nervous for are chem and math. then on SAT i have SAT teehee. (pun intended :P) then after the SAT is the AWESOME sophomore PICNIC that all sophomores of HARKER should go to. :D if you don't know about it TALK TO ME so I can give you the info.

aw im so disappointed. so i've been watching the 4th season of the Office on www.hulu.com (which is an awesome site) and I thought there were going to be more episodes than I find out that the season's already ended. only 14 EPISODES. stupid writers strike. I can't enjoy more episodes of the Office until season 5 comes out. although I must admit season finale had so many cliff hangers! *spoiler alert* angela and dwight getting it on was slightly disturbing i have to admit. BUT THAT'S HUGE cuz she's supposedly engaged to andy. aw poor jim. he lost his chance to propose to Pam and now she's being insecure and might have second thoughts. NOOOO. and Michael finally found his soul mate but stupid JAN has to get preggy by some stupid sperm donor. ASLDKJHG. what is this world coming to?! Michael finally has something right going for him and he loses his chance. :(so yes. I hope September 25 comes around quickly so that I can start watching this amazing show again.

SCHOOL GETS OUT IN 4 DAYS. OMG. deargod. wow. that went by fast. like roadrunner who zooms through the desert. only a few days of long tests (although nothing like the AP i must admit.) and i'll be FREEEEE. :D I can RELAX. play SC/DoTA as long as I want. god that'll be the life. AND I can go to Australia! w00t. So i talked to my buddy over in australia and he seems pretty cool. He plays the alto sax in his school band which i think is kinda like jazz band so a little coincidence right there. He plays rugby too pretty hardcore. I wonder if Australians have FaceBook. Hmm. That'll be interesting. you know this leads me to wonder, what do Americans sound like to Australians? We think that the Australians and English people have accents but I wonder how we sound like to them. I think it'll be really weird to listen to an American accent. like we don't even have an accent. It's so weird to try to find the differences between accents and its super hard to find it but like once you hear an accent you know exactly they have an accent. SO WEIRD.

Anyhooo. That's about all out of me.
