hello again
hello again!
Well here I am again. Sitting at my desk. Wondering, "What shall I inform my readers about today?" Well other than the fact that I took my SAT yesterday, I don't think anything momentous happened in my life this weekend.
Hm as far as SATs go, I feel decently okay about them. Quite average. They weren't the greatest. I don't feel like jumping up and down going, "I WON! I WON!"But on the other hand, I don't feel like I have to go sit in the little corner of my room and sob. So I'm right in the middle. I am content.
ICE SKATING? IN THE MIDDLE OF MARCH? OUTDOORS? IN CALIFORNIA!? Yes it happened. I went "ice" skating yesterday! I don't know if I should call it ice, per say, but it was skateable. It was quite entertaining as Darren, Brian, Creasman, Tara, Michael, and I smoothly glided over the sugary greasy plastic surface. Maybe not so smoothly (as in Michael's case) but it was fun! Especially after 4 hours of testing.
Hm. I should return to my bio studying, math correcting, english re-writing. insert exasperated breath of air here.

procrastination? what?
Procrastination. What a silly word. What a long, unnecessary, unproductive word filled with connotations of hate, long nights, guilt, and pain. Yet, our lives are so completely dominated by this aspect that we are unable to shake it off like a hyper dog can't let go of tennis ball. Even now, I am being controlled by this invulnerable force as I have spent the last 45 minutes playing a flash game and now being dragged into writing a blog entry. Unfortunately, I have yet to start my English essay which I must finish for tomorrow. Time limit: 2 hours. Reason: sleep by 10. Reality: Probably not happening.
//edit at 11:43 PM. Didn't happen//
However, on the events of the day, I attended a lacrosse game today in which I stayed for its entire duration and was pleasantly surprised to find that I was enthralled by the intensity and the pure adrenaline rush of watching girls run across a field with a tiny ball and large sticks. Unfortunately, the mighty Eagles were defeated by Los Gatos Highschool (wildcats?) But! It was quite the valiant effort. Let us give them a well-deserved round of applause.
Now I must return to the miserable life of writing essays. I bid you adieu.

new layout? again!?
Once again I have been influenced by mass movement.
A few days ago, I found out that everyone in journalism will have to have a blog for a month
in which they must update daily. Naturally, this made me think of my poor blog who has been neglected and mistreated for a few months. :( So today, in order to make it feel better, I gave it a makeover. I think a new look will do wonders for its self-esteem. I believe that it is quite a looker now. It's like all of those cool blogs with sweet designs. :D
So while I was recreating my blog, I neglected my APUSH studying. This might be a bad idea because I have a Unit 6 test on March 11, 2009, at 10:15 A.M. Which in case you (the extraordinary reader) are too lazy to look at the thing with dates on it, is tomorrow. At the beginning of this seven day period, I discovered to my chagrin that I had a test everyday of this school week. Thankfully, Doc Harley pushed back his Biology test to Monday. So I have been spared the act of having to study for that.
Currently on my desk, I hold a few drinks that I have left alone for several days. These drinks should probably be thrown away. I have an orange-orange (c+calcium) vitaminwater from this Saturday, a strawberry wild Jamba Juice from Wednesday of last week, and an Orange Gatorade from Harry's visit during Winterbreak. Oh dear. I must throw these away. In addition to these drinks, I have a Pirouette can (empty), numerous SAT study guides, an APUSH textbook (from afore mentioned studying), a PSP, several stacks of papers, speakers, a random keyboard collecting dust, a Time magazine opened and folded to an article that I never got around to reading, my manly deodorant, my Calculus book, and several other items of lesser importance. Perhaps one day I will come around to cleaning away my desk and being rid of these unwanted articles.
Obsequious: attentive in a servile manner
innocuous: harmless
canonical: conforming to orthodox rules
that is all.

hello world. how are you?
hello world. how are you?
i'm doing fine. thank you very much.
mmm we made a film today. it was quite exciting.
so my title(s) was(were):
the Animal Trainer
The Photographer
The assistant's assistant (in laymen terms)
those were for a movie that did not contain any animals or photography.
yes. i know. i'm quite the important person.
and SUPPOSEDLY my actions do not reflect my masculinity. JUST BECAUSE i get a little hyper after drinking a can of soda does not mean my masculinity is being threatened. sheesh.
flummox: to confuse
I flummoxed the teacher by putting someone else's name on my paper.
Preeminent: outstanding
he is a preeminent chess player.
stigmatize: to stereotype in a negative way
the KKK stigmatized anyone who was not white.
yes. i am studying for my SAT which is in approximately 5 days. ASDKJFH AIYAH.
the one thing i'm worried about is my vocab because I was lazy and didn't review very often. SO this next week will be jampacked with vocab words being uttered out of my mouth. something to spice up the day, no? Hopefully, I will not be so facetious about my vocabulary. Please don't be so fatuous and make fun of my big words.
JEFFERSON AERO PLANE - RELIENT K
what a good song.
"if it hurts, kiss it better"
what a good philosophy. hohoho.
...
yeah. i'll try to post more often. yeah? yeah.
CIAO
ps. i need to talk about steffo in this post somewhere.

because we're better together.
mmm jack johnson everyone. quite the musical savvy person, he's so chill although i wouldn't be surprised if he had a little something something to help him with the laid-back stuff.
Sometimes I wish I could be suave and smooth talking just because that would be super cool. I would be soft spoken, but carry a big stick! APUSH ftw.
hm junior year? how goes it you ask? well personally, I don't think it's as bad as people hyped it up to be. Even after first semester, the seniors told me to BEWARE, "hell lies ahead." So far, I've managed to work my around this "hell" I think I've managed pretty well. Unfortunately, SAT's seem to be the devil's little helper. But that's okay, that's aright, I'll be done with it outright. But other than the whole school/work/education/learning part of Junior Year, I'm really enjoying it. I have a lot more freedom with my license. I can decide when I want to go home (never), I can decide if I want to get something to eat (Jamba), I can go hang out with my friends (always) without having to worry about rides. It's pretty awesome.
hm that's about all i can get out of my head right now.
