Procrastination. What a silly word. What a long, unnecessary, unproductive word filled with connotations of hate, long nights, guilt, and pain. Yet, our lives are so completely dominated by this aspect that we are unable to shake it off like a hyper dog can't let go of tennis ball. Even now, I am being controlled by this invulnerable force as I have spent the last 45 minutes playing a flash game and now being dragged into writing a blog entry. Unfortunately, I have yet to start my English essay which I must finish for tomorrow. Time limit: 2 hours. Reason: sleep by 10. Reality: Probably not happening.
//edit at 11:43 PM. Didn't happen//
However, on the events of the day, I attended a lacrosse game today in which I stayed for its entire duration and was pleasantly surprised to find that I was enthralled by the intensity and the pure adrenaline rush of watching girls run across a field with a tiny ball and large sticks. Unfortunately, the mighty Eagles were defeated by Los Gatos Highschool (wildcats?) But! It was quite the valiant effort. Let us give them a well-deserved round of applause.
Now I must return to the miserable life of writing essays. I bid you adieu.
