ho hum. tis a new layout! just for the holiday season!
Although, it's not very holiday-themed is it.
Oh well. I thought it was cool. I kinda want to add more stuff to it
but people (steff...) said that it would make their (her) brain explode. So I'll refrain
because they (she) will need it in the near future. But if you have suggestions, I'm more than willing to take them of course.
Well it's Christmas Eve and I didn't do much today. My family went to church though and the service was pretty good. My pastor is actually a really good actor, so he acted as one of the shepherds during the nativity story! It was really interesting and much more entertaining than a regular sermon. Thank god we have a cool pastor. Speaking of which, Korean pastors have the weirdest intonations in the world. they go blah blah blah BLAH blahblahblah. It's undulating (vocab word!) tone puts me to sleep. Quite unfortunate really because I'm sure they have interesting things to say. I wouldn't understand them anyway without the undulation because they use big Korean words. D: oh well.
I suffer. I've been going to an SAT class these past two weeks. I don't mind the math portion because our teacher is funny/entertaining but the english section just kills me. 4 hours of vocab, CR, grammar and MORE is not fun. Don't ever try to do it. don't. I know you're going like, "oooh it can't be THAT bad. People always exagerrate." Don't try to be cute. It really is not fun. It doesn't help that the teacher thinks she's a know-it-all and says, "Oh this section was so easy. I got all of the answers right!" and then the rest of us get -3. Great. Thanks. The emotional support is awesome. The homework load is ridiculous. She's making us do this Accelerated Reading something something where she sends us an article a day and we have to take notes on it, summarize, find vocab words, and other READING skills activities. AND these are articles from like heavy duty magazines. Nothing like Time for KIDS or Ladybug or ESPN. This is like nerd, people who know what's actually going on with the economy sort of magazine. It's like she doesn't have a life other than this class she teaches. We get one everyday INCLUDING Christmas. Way to spoil the holidays. I can picture her now at the computer going, "HAHAH. THESE KIDS WILL SUFFER FROM THE STUPOR OF THESE PATRONIZING ARTICLES. bah humbug." Quite sad really. I literally think that this is all she does. Quite sad, quite sad.
Anyway, I was feeling quite nice and holiday spirit-y until I thought of my SAT english teacher. BAH HUMBUG. So now I have nothing more to say.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Guten...night. :O
